Project Brief
In an effort to streamline internal communication, Zespri International Limited needed to seamlessly integrate bespoke audio visual technology within their facilities while complimenting their existing architecture. Their frequent shareholder, supplier, and external client VC meetings required a high calibre of audio to facilitate excellent communication coupled with intuitive easy-to-use equipment to ensure no costly meeting delays. Versatility and dependability were also key pillars to the project.
Boardrooms
Zespri chose to integrate equipment from the Shure Microflex® Advance™ (MXA) and Microflex® Wireless (MXW) range of microphones to align with their own global reputation for quality and excellence.
The installation also incorporated QSC equipment including the PTZ camera, IO-USB Bridge, amps, and speakers. Bringing everything together at the heart of the system is QSC’s Q-Sys CORE.
Flexible Room Configuration
The entire room is intuitively designed to allow flexible room configuration, either as a standalone boardroom or segregated to a max of three separate meeting rooms.
The entire room configuration met and exceeded client expectations. After installation, the client’s staff could easily use the equipment with minimal errors or downtime.
Pendant Speakers
The installation featured a combination of ceiling, surface and pendant mounted QSC Acoustic Design™ Series loudspeakers.
The loudspeakers would ensure virtually unnoticeable zone transitions and optimised audio coverage. Additionally, AcousticDesign™ Series loudspeakers are designed with architecturally pleasing aesthetics in mind.
Ceiling Array Microphones
Seamlessly integrated communication technology leads to better discussions and clearer correspondence. For this reason, MXA910 with IntelliMix was chosen to eliminate equipment clutter and leave the room with a clean and clear feeling. In turn, meeting participants can concentrate on the conversation itself as opposed to the position of a microphone.
Q-SYS
The Q-SYS Ecosystem offers network video distribution, USB peripherals, and Q-SYS conference cameras for soft codec integration, network amplifiers, and a complete suite of installation loudspeakers. This leads to audio, video, and control solutions integrated with streamlined harmony throughout meeting spaces.
Camera
The PTZ 12×72 cameras are part of the Q-SYS Ecosystem and deliver professional quality conference video. This feeds alongside industry leading audio processing for small, medium and large sized meeting rooms for utilising soft-codec conferencing or computer-based capture.
